  24.             The NNSC provides information services and technical  assis-
  25.             tance  to  NSFNET  end-users.   Information  and  documents,
  26.             available in online and/or printed form, cover  topics  such
  27.             as  resources  (Internet  Resource  Guide),  contacts at the
  28.             mid-level networks and at local campuses  and  institutions,
  29.             and  network  status  reports.   When prospective or current
  30.             users do not know whom to call  concerning  their  questions
  31.             about NSFNET use, they should contact the NNSC.

  33.             Online information is available  from  the  Info-Server,  an
  34.             automated program which distributes documents in response to
  35.             specially formatted messages.  For  instructions  about  the
  36.             Info-Server, send a message to info-server@nnsc.nsf.net with
  37.             ``HELP'' in the body of the message.

  41.             NNSC is accessible from the Internet.

  43.             _W_h_o _C_a_n _U_s_e _t_h_e _N_N_S_C

  45.             NNSC services are geared toward users of NSFNET, however the
  46.             staff  will provide assistance, either directly or by refer-
  47.             ring questions to a more appropriate source for information,
  48.             to  users  with  general Internet-related questions or prob-
  49.             lems.
